Gloria J Zucaro's "Illinois Landscape Tangle"

Original 3.5"Square Ink & Colored Pencil Design
 on
Official Zentangle Tile Watercolor Paper

$3.00 plus $1.00 S&H

This is my weekly challenge entry for Laura the Diva's prompt of"Home".       http://iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/  I live in Illinois about 40 miles out from Chicago which sits on the Western side of Lake Michigan.  I depicted Lake Michigan in my tangle in blue.  I love the Midwest with it's corn fields and natural Prairie flowers such as the Coneflower, pictured here.   We have beautiful sunsets and good soil as one of the country's " bread basket" states.  I am inserting pictures of the city of Chicago on lake Michigan, and a typical cornfield.

  1. The photos are fantastic and the challenge piece captures the spirit of fields in its design and coloring. I too love the fields of the Midwest, they are amazing. The way you interpreted them into a tangle is spot on!

I'm from Chicago originally and was born in Dixon. So both these photos make me nostalgic.
