I had been yearning to do a horse, so I did!  Although this is not really a tangle design, I think that horses like to eat those thistles that can take over a field, so that is what gave me the idea for this design.  This is my weekly entry to Paint Party Friday hosted by Kristin and Eva.  Go on over and see what everyone else has been up to.  http://paintpartyfriday.blogspot.com/

  1. Ohh horses have been on my mind a lot lately as I am sponsoring a horse rescue with my Facebook Studio Page likes this month. My Son just started taking horse back riding lessons. Your piece is truly lovely. Happy PPF #3 Robin Panzer Art Studio 33

  3. I wouldn't know how to draw a horse unless I traced it! I think this is a real great horse! Didn't know there was such a thing as an official zentangle watercolor tile! Patsy from

  4. this is such a fun experience for me. not sure what my eyes did at first but it was like one of those pictures you stare at to see several things...at first I found NO horse; but after blinking and looking again it popped out at me. I like it so much Gloria... all the more fun having to track it down!

  12. I so love horses too. I really like the way the horse head is blank for the most part and the background is what defines the shape. Your thistley background is very cool. Happy PPF
