I don't think these cacti would be still blooming, but they certainly show off a Christmas color palette!
This is my entry for Paint Party Friday this week.

    My mom has several Christmas Cacti which bloom this time of year so maybe this one could, too. It certainly can bloom anytime in paint! I love the little touches of bright blue in this red and green scheme. Very pretty!

    Thank you, everyone. I have been to the Southwest a couple of times in the last few years, and love it. I was given some prickly pear cacti to grow in my yard in McHenry IL a few years ago. I put them in the rocky/sandy soil on the West side of my garage and they took off like gangbusters. I tried to bring some when I moved to the townhouse, but the association wouldn't let me! They had yellow flowers.(The cacti, not the association! LOL)
