This is what you paint when you have not decided what to paint at the end of the day. I had just studied using Dreama's transparent oils and was attracted to anything white that I could put Indian Yellow under as the base for the block-in. So even though I have the apple, broken spoon and the cookie in the painting, they only have bit parts and the cup is the star. This is my entry to Paint Party Friday. Be sure to stop over to see all the other artist's work. Happy PPF!
Oh, I like the colors of the cup. The bit players are well done also. Happy PPF!
ReplyDeleteHi Gloria, loving the star of the show, but also adore all the bit part players and fabulous colourings. Happy PPF, Annette x

ReplyDeleteThe cup reflects so much light! I have no experience in oils, but it really looks delicious to work with! I know that is a food term... but doesn't it just lick-able?
ReplyDeleteThe cup is brilliant, the whole painting is beautiful. Love the colors. I love Dreama's paintings too. I just signed up for one of her workshops finally after admiring her work for so long. Now I have to wait until next year to take it! Whaah!
