I enjoyed and learned a lot from Margaret Dyer in her 3-day workshop "The Figure in Pastel".
Then a switch to doing quick 30-minute landscape studies with Frankie Johnson.
A couple of the paintings from each are below. I am linking to Paint Party Friday, the site for seeing many artist's weekly creations. Have a wonderful week.
Wonderful art this week, glad you enjoyed your workshop. Have a good weekend. Happy PPF, hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Susan. We had live models that we took various pictures of and then the next day did our paintings. The first day, the model stayed for about 3 hours.
DeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I would love to take a landscape workshop one day. I mostly paint portraits. Landscapes are always really challenging for me.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie. I actually like landscape the best because you have more freedom to change it around and make it your own.
DeleteGloria, these are all wonderful and I am attracted to their style and colors~

ReplyDeleteThank you for leaving a comment. I did go to see your watercolor, but couldn't seem to leave a reply. Watercolor is a difficult medium and you did a wonderful job-especially after such a long time.
