Original Oil on Linen sheet.  Frameable area 6 1/2 inches square
$35.00  $7.00 S&H

This is my entry for the Daily Paintworks challenge of the week of painting roses. http://dailypaintworks.com/Challenges  There are lots of beautiful roses to see from this challenge!
As you probably have guessed, one of my favorite colors is tangerine.  I especially love those roses that start out with a rosy bud and then turn a beautiful apricot color when mature.  This is also my entry for Paint Party Friday, since I am having company tomorrow and won't have time to post again then.  http://paintpartyfriday.blogspot.com/  Happy PPF and have a nice weekend everyone.  I can't believe it is almost time for the kids to go back to school!

I went to Costco to get some things for a luncheon at my house with girlfriends.  One friend drinks tea, so I bought a bag of lemons.  What was I thinking!  I got 5lbs of lemons and as it turned out she didn't even have tea that day!  So I am thinking I am going to have to make homemade lemonade...humm, I think I need a 5lb bag of sugar!

"Past The Pansies & Violets"

 8"H x 10"W              $175.00 plus     10.00 S&H
Pastel on Ampersand Board                      Frame cost $70.00
This is the "Outside My Window" view of my courtyard in front of my townhouse. This is my entry into the Daily Paintworks Challenge for this week. My artist friend Ann Feldman offered this challenge and painted her cat begging outside the window to come in! My pots of Pansies and Violets are on sitting on the top step going down into the courtyard from the French doors. I don't use the steps,(I go out the main front entry) so always have potted plants on them. My courtyard has an Asian theme with a stone walk-way leading from the sidewalk past the pagoda over to a stone bench and a fountain that is made up of a bamboo spout trickling water into a stone basin. It is beautiful and soothing, but as with all things, needs to be maintained by making sure the water level doesn't drop so much in one hot afternoon that there is not enough to cover the pump!

Gloria J Zucaro's "Twist & Turn"

3.5"H x 3.5"W Original Pen & Ink Design
$3.00  Email Me
This is challenge #62 from the iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com.  Laura who hosts the Diva site tells us what the challenge will be each Monday.  This weeks challenge came from Certified Zentangle Teacher, Marizaan van Beek, all the way from South Africa! The challenge was to do the tangle Paradox wrapped around a spiral pattern.  Any other patterns used to complete the design were permitted, as long as the spirals were wrapped in the pattern Paradox which is made starting with a square or triangle.  The shapes that develop are so interesting, looking like fans that are twisted and turned in all directions.  After the ink design is complete you shade some areas to give it more dimension. Some of the other patterns used are variations on Jeewels,Vega,Carres,Jetties, Feathers and Beadlines.         Comment Here
