Gloria J Zucaro's "Thank You Ann"

This week has been filled with efforts to close the deal on my townhouse.  Repair men and painters at the prospective buyers request.  The bank appraisal is on the 18th.  I am asking everyone to pray that it appraises at the level of the sales contract.  Thank you in advance! :>)

This little card is for Ann who sent me a delicious Edible Arrangement after my surgery.  It was a perfect gift , light and refreshing.  I am portraying the pieces of pineapple(flower & stars), the strawberries and grapes.  There were also slices of melon,so good!  Sorry it took me so long, Ann.

4 inches square on watercolor paper.  The sticks that are used in the fruit for stems are made using the Zentangle "Hollibaugh" pattern and the table top is "Leaflet"

I used Micron pens, Staedtler "ergo soft" coloured pencils and Artist Loft Dual Tip Brush Markers.

I am posting this to Paint Party Friday, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

Gloria J Zucaro's "Mom's Favorite Dessert"

5"H x 7"W original Pen, Ink & Watercolor

SOLD

This week for The Artist Playroom,Jennifer Mclean,
http://www.justaddwatersilly.com/ offered the prompt of strawberries,or "Be Inspired By Food" because Spring made her think of strawberries.  I immediately thought of strawberry shortcake because this Sunday is Mother's Day and my Mom's favorite dessert is good old fashioned strawberry shortcake made with real biscuits, not the ones in a can!  Real strawberries and real whipped cream. Yum!  I enjoyed making the drawing a little abstracted and used a tangle pattern for the tablecloth.  I would also like to say "Hello!" to all my Paint Party Friday friends and add this to this Friday's party.  Happy PPF.  Please visit Kristin and Eva and all the other artists that enter their artwork there.  http://paintpartyfriday.blogspot.com/
